Nasceu em 1972, em Penafiel, onde reside e trabalha. É tradutora e comerciante.

Sempre gostou de fotografar desde criança e ainda tem a sua Nikon Fd65 para tirar algumas fotografias hoje em dia, mas foi a partir de 2007 que começou a fotografar mais e a publicar na internet. Por causa disso descobriu o fascinante mundo da Fotografia de Rua e do Preto e Branco. Então tornou-se fã de fotografias a Preto e Branco pois transmitem muito sentimento. Trabalha imenso em modo manual, porque gosta de controlar a luz à sua maneira. 

Não tem formação em fotografia, sendo auto-didata.

Fez a sua primeira exposição fotográfica coletiva em 2011 em Sintra., “Momentos Fotogénicos”. Vencedora de um concurso da C.M.Penafiel em 2012, sobre Penafiel, cujas fotografias vencedoras (13 ) estão em exposição em Portugal e França. Born  in 1972,  in  Penafiel, where lives and works. She is a translater and business woman.

Carla always loved to shoot since she was a child and  still preserves  her Nikon Fd65 for taking some pictures nowadays, but was since 2007 that she started to shoot more and published in Internet. Because of that she discovered the Street Photography ‘s fascinating world also as Black and White. So she became a fan of black and white pictures, that provides great feelings to the pictures.

She works a lot in manual mode, because she likes to have control over light. She doesn’t have any degree in photography. She is self-educated.

Made is first group exhibition in 2011 in Sintra “ Momentos Fotogénicos” . Winner in  C.M.Penafiel contest about Penafiel in 2012, whose pictures ( 13 ) can be seen in Portugal and France. She shows her pictures on internet in Olhares.com , Fotogénicos.net , Fineart- Portugal and Facebook under nickname Hotaskim.
