As artes, no geral, tiveram desde sempre um papel preponderante na minha vida, principalmente quando comecei a ter olhos para ver e sentir o que me rodeava. Devido a? minha a?rea profissional, arquitecto, a imagem e? parte significativa do meu trabalho e a forma como o posso expor e mostra?-lo aos outros, assim surgiu a fotografia, naturalmente, mas como uma ferramenta de trabalho.

Posteriormente, em 2011, tornou-se possível obter a minha primeira DSLR, por forma a aumentar a qualidade das imagens e das apresentações, mas dai? a fotografar tudo o que me rodeava e provocava sensações foi um instante, inscrevi-me em diversos sites da especialidade a fim de partilhar o meu trabalho e poder ser criticado, comprei diversos livros e revistas da especialidade para obter fundamentos teo?ricos, troquei ideias com outros fotógrafos e nunca mais parei.

O que era uma ferramenta virou uma paixa?o e hoje, a Fotografia, e? parte significante da minha vida e e? a forma como expresso a minha visão do mundo, neste sentido acho que todos o fazemos de certa forma quando criamos uma fotografia, mas esta e? a minha, o meu mundo. 

My name is Hugo Amendoeira, but i sign my works as Hugo Só (Alone). The idea of creating a pseudonym even came in college when a teacher  “baptized" me, a joke that still remains today. Later, in photography, because for me this is an art that makes me lose in time and traveling a path in the world, mostly solitary, influenced the choice.

The arts in general have always a major role in my life, especially when I started to have eyes to see and feel what surrounds me. Due to my professional área, architect, the image is a significant part of my work and how I can expose and show it to others.

Later, in 2011, comes the opportunity to get my first DSLR, to increase the quality of images and presentations, but there to photograph everything around me that causes sensations emerged quickly. I signed up in various sites or groups for sharing and being criticized, I bought several books and magazines for theoretical foundations, swapped shares with other photographers and I never stopped.

What was a tool turned a passion and, today, Photography is a significant part of my life and it’s how I express my view of the world, in this sense I think we all do the same when we create a picture, but this is my, my world.
